i'm back! (sort of)

we spent the holidays with family and friends in the Philippines and now we're back. i am tired, sleepy, happy about the people we met and places we visited but sad about those we missed and the cheap local stuff we didn't have the time to buy. But baby Racrac had the greatest time of his life bonding with his lolos and lolas, charming the pretty girls and ladies wherever we go, chasing around dogs and cats and watching the world go by from the window of our car while i wrestled with him to keep him steady and secure (no carseat, tsk! tsk!) as Fil negotiated with the slow traffic and other people's crazy driving.

we were away for a month and all i have to show for it are pictures and the weight i gained (huhuhu!) and while i am so dying now to have my favorite hotdogs for breakfast, i was left with durian candies after the customs officers at the San Francisco airport mercilessly took away the precious Purefoods TJ hotdogs from our baggage and dumped them quickly into the garbage bin like it's some kind of a foot-and-mouth disease carrier (sob, sob!) Blame it on early plane arrival. We did not only arrive an hour earlier but our plane was also the only one who landed at that time so the airport was literally unbusy and everyone was eager to do his/her job.

like i said, i'm back but not to my old cheerful happy self yet. i have jet lag, sure, but i am still slowed down by some molecules of me wishing they're still in the Philippines enjoying the beach and the food and the people (translation: ayoko pa umuwi!!!) *sigh...*

though i got tons of stories to share, i am not yet in the mood to blog about them now (sleepy pa...) so for the meantime, let me entertain you with our vacation photos which i have already uploaded to our multiply site.
